Washer-dryer repair enquiries
One cabinet, two routines. Separate the washing complaint from the drying complaint.

Begin with the behaviour.
A good wash followed by a wet drying result is a different enquiry from a wash that never empties.
Say whether washing finishes normally and whether clothes become warm during the drying selection.
What has changed?
These are possible assessment areas, rather than a diagnosis or an instruction to dismantle the appliance.
The combined cycle leaves wet clothes
Does a wash-only programme finish and empty normally?
Drying selection, load size and the drying system need separate consideration.
Water stays after washing
Did the wash stage complete and was draining heard?
Drainage or level sensing may affect both halves of the appliance.
The combined appliance will not start
Does the display work and which selection was made?
Door sensing, control settings or the supply may need assessment.
Drying stops early
Was the load warm, and did the machine show a message?
Temperature control, airflow or sensing can affect drying time.
A noise occurs between stages
Did it begin during washing, draining or drying?
The stage helps identify which system needs examination.
Water escapes during use
Which part of the cycle was running when water first appeared?
Water connections, seals or internal circuits may need assessment.
Choose the name on the appliance.
After a power interruption
Write down what changed before you tried anything else. Preserve the exact display wording; do not repeatedly reset a tripping supply.
